- I can take part in discussions dealing with persuasive/argumentative and creative writing.
- I can identify errors in sentences to correct them.
- I can organize my thoughts into a creative writing story by including story elements (plot, theme, characterization, rising action, resolution).
- I can write an argumentative/persuasion essay with clear reasons and relevant evidence.
- I can spell correctly (all year).
- I can create a speech with a visual aid to present to my classmates.
- I can write an outline for a demonstration speech that clearly explains the step by step process.
